Last night my laptop unexpectedly announced its retirement. It gave me a generous two hours notice to clean my stuff out and say goodbye. I plan to delay replacement until June, when I can get a better view of my computing needs and options and when time spent acquiring and breaking in a new system will not take time away from my project development.
The ramifications of this event with respect to my progress on Follow Your Heart! will be the following:
1. All my data is backed up; I will use my zen xtra as a external HDD to shuttle large project files.
2. I'll be spending much more time at school on the lab and library computers.
3. I will be inconvenienced.

Sorry to hear about the breakdown. At least it was preceded by a 'breakthrough' to soften the blow.
I did have a bit of a concern with the planetarium as a location. The center of the room is occupied by that large star-projector thing. You would have to run around that thing in a circle, so I think that might interfere with your floor plan.
I don't think I can add much more, so I'll say something you already know: make sure you give plenty of time for testing the movement of the light. If you're able to get the user to feel they are interacting with the light, they will be instantly invested. This will make or break the piece, and if it works it should be very very cool.
sorry man! That totally sucks. Are you going to take your anger out on that useless piece of trash somehow? If my computer betrayed me like that I would have to express my rage, with fire, crowbars, a car, or SOMETHING. You have to get back at it for letting you down.
Man!
Well... the lab is not so bad. You're near people to help and motivate you.
An acquaintance of mine apparently got rid of his bed so he wouldn't be tempted to sleep. Um... so now you can be more like him? Um...
Well, regardless, I concur with John. Tape it and post it on your blog. Please.
